BLOODBORNE PATHOGEN TRAINING
Required in most states, as well as for APP membership , the Bloodborne Pathogen Standard is the most important safety training a modification artist can recieve. The OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Standard is an evolving standard, and annual training is required in order to keep up with changes made to the Standard, or any interpretations issued by OSHA in regards to the Standard.
This four hour course, compliant with OSHA Bloodborne Pathogen Standard 29 CFR 1910.1030, covers such topics as; disease transmission, infection control/prevention, universal precaution/BSI, Hepatitis B vaccination, needle safety, labeling, engineering/work practice controls, set up/breakdown, airborne pathogens, and exposure control plan. Taught by a member of and for the body modification industry, the standard is both general and specific to the body modification industry.
All students recieve a workbook containing the full text of the OSHA Bloodborne Pathogen Standard 29 CFR 1910.1030, a sample Exposure Control Plan, and Hepatitis B vaccination form.

Adult First Aid/CPR and AED
Knowing how to respond to a first aid or CPR emergency is one of the most important skills a person can possess. The Standard First Aid, CPR and AED course meets the OSHA requirements and is your tool for learning the latest skills, techniques and expertise in life-saving procedures. The practice and feedback of using related skills in a realistic situation is integrated into the actual learning experience.
The Standard First Aid, CPR and AED course topics include:
- Breathing and cardiac emergencies in adults, infants and children
- Identifying and caring for bleeding, sudden illnesses and injuries
- Preventing disease transmission
- Introduction to AED's
